Grand Rapids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Academy (GRBJJMMA) is the only MMA school in West Michigan with TWO certified Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts and a professional MMA fighter from Brazil.

GRBJJ is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Academy and as a part of Team Jorge Gurgel. Team Gurgel has produced many great fighters including: former UFC Middleweight Champion - Rich "Ace" Franklin, UFC fighters: Marcus "The Irish Hand Grenade" Davis, Dustin "McLovin" Hazlett, Marcus "Maximus" Aurelio, of course, Jorge "JG" Gurgel, and GRBJJMMA's very own Clint "Big Dawg" Crabtree who took 2nd in the World's No-Gi Competition in 2007.
