GRBJJ is owned and operated by CLINT CRABTREE, a Grand Rapids area police officer and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. Clint has won many regional and national tournaments including: PAN-AMS OF BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU, RELSON GRACIE NATIONALS, THE ARNOLD WORLDS, NORTH AMERICAN GRAPPLING ASSOCIATION (NAGA), THE BUDWEISER CLASSIC and placing 2nd in the 2007 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World No-Gi Tournament. Clint is the only certified Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt on this side of the state and, as such, is becoming much sought after for MMA instruction. GRBJJ is a proud member of TEAM JORGE GURGEL lead by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran and Spike TV's UTLIMATE FIGHTER 2 star JORGE GURGEL. Jorge Gurgel is also coach and corner man to former UFC champion RICH FRANKLIN.
